4 Workplace Anti-Discrimination Laws
Workplace discrimination is detrimental to everyone involved. It can narrow the talent pool, marginalize team members, and slowly chip away at a person’s sense of confidence, self-worth, and sense of belonging. Beyond that, it creates legal liability for companies and possibly for individual managers and employees.
Most people don’t “intend” to discriminate against others in the workplace. Even so, discrimination remains sadly common. So, how can you stop the cycle? It starts with awareness. Employers must know their obligations, and employees must know their rights.
